This hinterland home is set amongst tall trees and birds. The existing timber weatherboard house was renovated in 2020 to capture the views of the natural bushland on the block and views to the rolling hills beyond.
Cape Woolamai Residence is a passive solar three-bedroom dwelling designed to connect the inhabitants with the local coastal environment of the site.
The home flows from the entry point through a series of communal spaces and central courtyard to the rear northern main living areas with connection to the rear garden beyond
The renovation of this Inverloch residence made the most of its ‘good bones’ to modernise and extend the existing structure to reorientate the dwelling to better make use of the northern rear aspect and connection to the outdoor entertaining spaces.
