Coastal Calm is a passive solar three-bedroom dwelling designed to connect a young professional family with the local coastal environment of the site.

The home flows from the entry point through a series of communal spaces and central courtyard to the rear northern main living areas with connection to the rear garden beyond.

 

It utilizes sustainably sourced local timber, recycled bricks and handcrafted bespoke features throughout. The dwelling also captures and stores water, generates its own solar electricity and has natural and ethically sourced materials and finishes.
